Edward Elric: Alchemist prodigy, and Dog of the Military. Edward is desperately searching for the Philosopher's Stone to restore his and his brother's bodies. With his ability to transmute without a circle, Ed can turn virtually anything into a weapon

Sora: keeper of the legendary Keyblade, Sora walks a path that has led him to many worlds. On that same path, he and his friends, Donald and Goofy, have met and helped many people fight the encroaching evil of the Heartless, and the manipulations of the Nobodies

Now, which of these 2 will come out with the better type of magic? Will Edwards alchemy be enough to Sora? Can Sora stand up to an experienced alchemist? Alchemy or Magic? Only you can decide...

Edward is smarter, has more combat experience, and his Alchemy gives him more range and variety compared to Sora' magic.

I think Roxas would be a much more interesting opponent for Edward. Personally, I think these two would be fairly evenly matched...unless Sora used his drive forms.
