Kingdom Hearts 2: Planet Ultra part 8

*A short while later inside the coliseum* 

Sora: Woah, and I thought the outside was huge.

Goofy: I'll say.

Ace: Shall we get started?

Sora: Yes sir.

Ace: Now then, let's start by finding out some techniques of your own.

Taro: Since not all Ultras can do the same technique.     

Sora: Ok, just gotta figure out how.

Ace: *nods as he now points to a screen floating in mid air* See that screen?

*Sora turns to see a floating screen with the image of Birdon*

Ace: Let's see if you can shoot it.

Sora: Sure.

Ace: But first, allow me demonstrate a few techniques of my own.

Sora: Ok, maybe they might give me inspiration.

Ace: Starting with my variation of the Ultra Slash.

Sora: Ultra Slash?

Ace: A buzz saw like energy disc. Unlike some, Mine comes in a variety of forms and can be duplicated several times before being thrown.

Sora: *excited* Come on, just show us!

Ace: Observe my Ace Slash. *places his hands opened at his chest, pulls his right hand back and tosses a saw blade shaped energy disk at the screen which makes it flash yellow on contact*

Sora: *amazed* Woah!

Ace: Now here's my cutting ability; the Ultra Guillotine. *he crosses his arms parallel and vertically with one another and after breaking the stance, releases a thin line of energy*

Donald: Wow! 

Goofy: I'll bet he's one guy not to mess with.

Sora: I'll say.

Ace: I have different versions of the Ultra Guillotine, but for now this'll be the only one I'll demonstrate.

Sora: Sure.

Ace: Now then Sora, let's see if you can do an Ultra Slash of your own. *walks back as Sora walks in front of him*

*Zero and Mebius watch from just a feet away*

Zero: This could be interesting for the new guy.
 
Mebius: Sora!

*Sora turns to Mebius who called him*

Mebius: *gives a thumbs up* Good luck.

Sora: Thanks. *Turns back to the screen* Now, how can I do my variation of the Ultra Slash? *thinks*

Ace: Take your time, we're not in a hurry.

Goofy: *gets an idea* Sora.

Sora: Yeah?

Goofy: Think of my shield as the Ultra Slash.

Sora: *remembers how Goofy throws his shield in different ways* I've got it it! Thanks Goofy.

Goofy: Your welcome.

*Sora rises a finger in a way like the Goofy Bash, instead of creating a buzzsaw like disc, he creates a disc more similar to a chakram which is white in color. He throws it hitting the screen, much to the surprise of Donald and Goofy.* I did it!

Ace: Not bad Sora.

Sora: Thanks, first time for everything.

Ace: Now, try again on a moving target. *the screen now starts to move left and right*

Sora: No prob. *creates another disc and after taking his time he hits the screen again*

Ace: Well done Sora.

Taro: Yes, well done.

Sora: Thanks.

Ace: *Walks up to him* Now to show you some ultra beam techniques.

Sora: Ok, i'm ready.

Ace: Now Sora, the Ultra Beam is a staple Ultra ability that all Ultras have. Each Ultra has their own version or technique, the most known and suspected to be the most basic, is the Specium Ray used by Ultraman and Jack.

Sora: Including me since I'm one of you?

Ace: Yes, the majority of Ultras are able to fire an Ultra Beam from hands crossed in either a plus sign *puts his right hand vertical and left hand horizontal*  T *puts his right fist on the bottom of his left arm*, L *puts his right arm vertical on his horizontal left hand* or even X *puts his hand in an X shape* style. This beam can also be fired in ways such as an outstretched hand or from a jewel on an Ultra's forehead. A basic Ultra Beam is powerful enough to destroy the average monster in one shot.

Sora: Wow sounds powerful.

Ace: Indeed, but there are monsters that can resist it, so we resort to much stronger finishers. 

Donald: I can't wait to see this Ultra Beam in action.

Goofy: Yeah.

Ace: Now, observe my signature move, the Metallium Ray. *thrusts his arms to his left, then he swings them back towards his target and forms his arms in a "L" shape stance and fires his beam hitting the screen*

Sora: Ahh, I remember that, you used that to finish Doragory with me.

Ace: Glad you remembered. Now which crossed hands would you do?

Sora: I think i'll try in a plus sign.

*Ace nods as he steps aside and steps back* 

Sora: Quick question, does an Ultras Ultra Beam have names of their own?

Ace: Yes, like Taro's Strium Ray, Mebius' Mebium Shot, Zoffy's M87 Ray, and so on.

Sora: Think I can name my own techniques?

Ace: Of course, and by the way, you can be creative on how to unleash your Ultra Beam.

Sora: Ok. *After taking his time he puts his hands in a plus sign with his right hand vertically and his left hand horizontally, firing a white ray at the screen*

Goofy: Good goin Sora!

Zero: Not bad for a rookie.

Ace: Impressive. 

Sora: Still got a lot to learn I'll bet.

Ace: Indeed.

Sora: What next?

Ace: Light Bullets, a lesser form of our beam abilities. Ultras are able to fire small bursts of energy at a target. This technique is also known as Energy Bullets and Energy Blasts.

Sora: Ok.

Ace: For instance, my Arrow Shot. *fires blue, wedged-shaped arrows from his hands*

Sora: Woah.

Ace: Now, let's see if you can do some Light Bullets of your own. *stands back*

Sora: Let's see, how can I do Light Bullets? *thinks. Gets an idea, he makes a finger gun gesture with his right hand only with the thumb facing down, he fires bluish white colored bullets similar to the ones in his wisdom form.*

Ace: Not bad Sora.

Sora: Thanks. Say, ya don't might if I experiment with my techniques right? I'm thinking I could do or create moves based on my spells, or my friends techniques.   

Ace: Sure, I would like to see you be creative.

Sora: Thanks. 

Zero: Now this I gotta see.
